ALK’s CoPilot Live is the most popular satnav software for Windows Mobile smartphones, and second only to Nokia’s subscription service across all platforms.
Version 8 is set for launch on Windows Mobile soon, following the recent Android launch (essentially the same software but lacking the Microsoft Live Search integration), and will be available as both a download or pre-installed on a microSD card. A version for the iPhone is also imminent.
The main feature of v8 is the PND-like experience the software offers on a smartphone, with a range of clear and configurable map displays plus extras such as lane guidance.
